Chris Edwards

Firefighter-EMT

Media Director- Producer Hello, My name is Chris Edwards! I would like to personally welcome each and every one of you to our site. AS a firefighter and EMT with over 7 years of experience, I am passionate about helping people and making a difference in my community. I began my firefighting career as a volunteer firefighter with the EM Holt Fire Department. I then moved to Clover, South Carolina, where I joined the Clover Fire Department and quickly rose through the ranks and gained invaluable experience and training. Additionally I worked as a career firefighter for a couple of years as well. In my role as a firefighter, I have responded to thousands of calls, including fires, medical emergencies, and traffic accidents. I was awarded the Firefighter of the Year award in 2018, for the Clover Fire Department. In addition to my volunteer firefighting duties, I am also a full-time EMT, where I work for a private EMS agency and am responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in the field. I am certified in all aspects of BLS emergency medical care, including CPR, first aid, PHTLS. As a dedicated and committed firefighter and EMT I am always willing to go the extra mile to help others. This project is the result of my vision and desire to help to pass on some of my knowledge and experience to the upcoming generation of firefighters and EMS providers. "There is always something new to learn from EVERY incident you respond to. If YOU don't take anything away from the call, you aren't properly doing your job. NEVER stop learning. Learn from the mistakes of the past, your life may one day depend on it..."
